Handcrafted in our Welsh Border studio, this breathtaking statement necklace pairs vivid blue-green Magnesite beads with a hand-carved Mother of Pearl hibiscus flower pendant — a combination that draws on centuries of symbolism, natural wonder, and artisan skill. Every single bead is individually knotted by hand between each stone — a traditional jewellery-making technique that not only protects each bead but gives the necklace a beautifully fluid, luxurious drape.

Both the Magnesite beads and the carved Mother of Pearl flower are 100% natural materials, which means every single necklace carries its own individual character — subtle variations in colour, tone, and the natural markings of the stone and shell. In Victorian England, it was a prized material for fine jewellery, representing purity, faith, and new beginnings. Its luminous, iridescent surface — formed layer by layer inside the shell — is one of nature’s most extraordinary creations.
